Technology and Precision: Audiovisual Coverage of the First Sheet Cutting of the P-85 at Seatrium

The initial milestone of the construction of P-85, one of the most modern platforms of the new generation of Petrobras, took place at Estaleiro Seatrium (Brasfels), in Angra dos Reis. I was responsible for the complete audiovisual coverage of this historic event, which required a robust infrastructure of photo, video, and a high-complexity live broadcast connecting Brazil to Singapore.

Brazil-Singapore Connection: Live Transmission via Microsoft Teams in Real Time

In global-scale events, the international board needs to be present, even thousands of kilometers away. We conducted the live broadcast of the event directly to executives in Singapore, ensuring that every second of the first sheet cutting was followed with minimal latency and maximum quality.

Live Streaming Logistics in an Industrial Environment

Broadcasting from inside a shipyard presents unique challenges, from interference from metal structures to the need for a stable internet connection in remote areas.

  • Integration with Microsoft Teams: We ensured that the board could interact and view the event with stability.

  • Multiple Cameras: We captured various angles to make the remote experience immersive.

High-Definition Audio and Video Capture

Sound clarity is vital in official ceremonies. We used professional capture systems to ensure that the speeches of the authorities and the sound of the machines were transmitted without unwanted noise.

Iconographic Documentation: The Importance of Technical Recording

In addition to the broadcast, we conducted photographic and video coverage for the institutional archive and for dissemination in specialized media. The recording of the first sheet cutting is a valuable documentary asset for the history of Brazilian naval engineering.

Long Exposure Photography and Industrial Details

Capturing the metal cut requires precision. Recording the sparks, the plasma light, and the imposing steel necessitates a technical mastery of exposure to avoid missing the details of the industrial textures.

"Same-Day Edit" Video for Corporate Communication

We delivered video clips on the same day so that Seatrium's internal communication and partners could immediately update their networks and news portals.

Focus on Safety and Compliance (PPE and Regulations)

As a professional accustomed to the offshore and industrial environment, all coverage was carried out in strict compliance with labor safety standards (PPE and distancing), something fundamental for companies in the energy sector.

The Role of the P-85 in the Energy Sector

The P-85 is a high-capacity floating production unit (FPSO), and participating in its birth reinforces my commitment to documenting the energy progress of the country.

Audiovisual Expertise for Complex Engineering Projects

Whether in Singapore, Antarctica, or Angra dos Reis, the goal is the same: to deliver an impeccable visual narrative that connects stakeholders to the most important milestones of their projects.
